"Fastening Clamps" Catalogue

3 .3 . Ball-Ended Screws

Adaptability to all types of parts

  • Ball-ended screws: the ball and socket joint rotates 9°, which is enough to absorb any slight inclination of the part to fasten so as to ensure a secure grip.
  • Ribbed ball-ended screws: the friction coefficient of the ribbed surface is μ = 1, so it does not reduce the holding force on the clamp.
  • For delicate parts: screws with neoprene or Delrin contact surfaces are available for fastening delicate parts such as aesthetic metal sheets.
  • Standard and interchangeable: it is possible to combine different gripper fingers and make last minute modifications.
